Same machine essentially that is just the 16" vs 14".


The 235U is actually the older chip Meteor Lake U, and the 238V was a refreshed Lunar Lake architecture (with a few less cores) however as OP stated, the difference will more than likely not be noted in real world with the apps you will be using on this machine, however the 238V does have the Intel Arc Graphics (I think the 130W chip) whereas the 235U does not. Once again just a nice to have if you use that

And comparatively the RAM on the 235U processors is 5600MHz (Modular RAM chips) vs 8533MHz (Soldered RAM) on the 238V chips.

Going forward SA is only getting the 235U chips from what I have been told.
