On the 31st December our Dell tape dive broke. I phone Dell at 11am, spoke to a guy in Ireland, and within 4 hours, we had a new tape drive and a technician had been to us to install it. Really awesome service I must say.

What sort of contract do you have with them ???

Obviously corporate. Most corporate accounts with critical servers have a 4-hour turnaround on service 24x7 (depending on the distance from the nearest international airport) while the standard warranty is usually NBD (next business day) over 3 years.
Still much better than most other major manufacturers with their 1 year "carry in" warranty... :whistle:
