Dell Vostro Notebooks

Does anyone have any experience with the new range of Vostro notebooks? They seem pretty decent for the price

Three people I know have got them .... 1 loves it, 1 had a keyboard key break off (?!?! decided to go for a sony) and the other had an issue with monitor flicker (repaired the next day).
