Hi as stated in title , I have a Dell XPS 9365 .

It's about 2 years old and just suddenly switched off, I've tried the battery disconnect but it's not working.

Can anyone recommend somewhere nearby Fourways I can take it to get it repaired

Thanks

Have you tried Dell themselves ? I needed a replacement battery a while back for a XPS 9560. Got it cheaper (and quicker) via Dell Support than anywhere else. Alternatively you can try The Notebook Company. I've had previous Dell repairs done by the Pta branch.

Thanks guys ,
I needed it sorted asap , found a company called computer doctor in fourways that had a look , apparently it's a motherboard issue.

The person I bought the laptop from on this site by the way couldnt give me an invoice so I dont know about warranty ,

Think it was for a year only anyway .

There should be a code on bottom of laptop, call dell service centre and ask warranty status ?

My Dell gave me the same issues also after about 2 years.

Turned out to be a battery problem.

On the bottom of the battery there should be a sticker with a battery icon and a few dots. The battery icon is a button to test the battery - the dots are led's which show the status.

Oof I think it was @Flashgear. It might just be out of warranty. Around June/July.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Looks like I'll be looking for a new laptop .
