Delphi developers?

If I do program, its in Delphi. But I still reckon for a career C# is to way to go...so maybe consider sucking it up and just learning C#. C++ for low level stuff.

This is not for a career. Delphi is a tool for me, for me to get Windows apps done for the hardware I develop!!

We use Delphi too, but sometimes it seems like the only other Delphi programmers are in Russia - it seems to have a big following there for some reason?

I think C# "for a career" implies if you're looking to find a programming language that will appear in more and more job descriptions going forward, that's one of the ones (together with Java probably) that you have to at least be able to pretend you are familiar with. When was the last time you saw a Delphi position advertised? (ok, so maybe you saw one yesterday or whatever, but you know what I mean! :) )

Im in Gr.12 been using Delphi for 2 years now. I am still struggeling with it though, teachers in the school IT business generally aint that good. I mean, out of Gr.10, Gr.11 and Gr.12 here, only 3 pupils out of 50 passed Programming. I would really apreciate some help.

Doing my first here, using delphi... very nice programme cept when it comes to db's, then mysql just wants to complain all the time

well, Delphi for me was the first HLL that I could grasp without hounding people for help and battling with the concepts.

It is VERY COMMON in electronics engineering. Everywhere I start a new job I find Delphi and unfinished Delphi apps and projects.
