Hi guys,

Don't know if this is the correct forum to ask for this advice. Our engineering company is looking for a demo Quadro card (K4000) to test new beta software that has Nvidia specific GPU processing enabled. We need to test this on our analysis software before making a decision whether it is actually worth upgrading our HP workstation to a K5000 Quadro card. This will also affect our licensing agreement with our software provider.

Everything is above board, just need to see if there is anybody or company out there that could possibly assist. Please pop me a PM if you can help.

I can help you out if you are willing to collect from my brother in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan ;)

Can definitely help

I can rent you one for just under R2500 per day... excluding the R11600 security deposit.

Minimum hire period of 10 days.

Seriously???? You can buy a brand new K4000 for that rental price.....

hehe yeah I priced them already, K5000 +- R30k, K4000 +-R13.2k and the one I would recommend but my boss will never buy is the Tesla K20 at a cool R57k per card and that is the slow Tesla.

Software is around R200k p/a for the license currently. I will suggest it to my senior colleague, maybe we will just spend the R13.2k and be done with it instead of taking a chance.

Sorry Toxic... ;P

Real pity. . My deal would come from your opex budget not Capex... your accountant will love you for it.
