Dennis Woodside is the CEO of Motorola Mobility.
Woodside was previously the Vice President of Americas Operations at Google, Inc.
Mr. Woodside served as Vice President of UK Benelux and Ireland of Google, Inc.
He joined Google in 2003 and oversaw its operations in the U.K., Benelux and Ireland.
From 2003 to 2006, he launched the business operations group at Google and built up its presence in Central Europe, Russia, the Middle East and North Africa. Additionally, he started Google's inside sales operation in Europe.
Prior to Google, Mr. Woodside served as an Associate Partner at McKinsey and Company, where he led operational and strategy projects for multinational clients in the technology and media industries.
Earlier, Mr. Woodside managed complex mergers and acquisitions in aerospace, energy, media and finance industries, representing companies such as Berkshire Hathaway and Southern California Edison. He served as an Associate editor of the Stanford Law Review at Stanford Law School. He served as Law clerk to the Honorable Dennis G. Jacobs in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit in New York.
He has been a Director of The Advertising Council, Inc. since May 2009. He serves as a Director of Interactive Advertising Bureau Inc. He served as a Non-Executive Director of Game Group plc since July 2008. Mr. Woodside received a J.D. from Stanford Law School and holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from Cornell University.
