desire hd sync issues

I notice that since I have the new upgrade my gmail doesnt sync properly
Also my internet connection doesnt seem to work irrespective of whether I am on 3g or wifi
wifi is cellc
sim card is virgin

any advice?

I had this problem pre-gingerbread, i had this problem a couple of days after i opened my DHD box infact. I did a manufacturer reset and it worked all of a sudden, (will lose contacts/account and synching information)
