What places would you recommend where I can get a desk that will house my computer box, printer and modem and router?

And also have some space which I can use as a normal desk.

Er, look for a regular desk? plonk your "computer box" under the desk as per normal with the printer net to your monitor(s) and the router/modem somewhere as well?

I have a desk, has my monitor/keyboard/mouse (with ample armrest space so I can use it to eat while watching live stream tv without having to remove my keyboard), has my xbox360 and printer on it and a lot of other junk, like empty glasses/beer bottles/notes with scribbles on it/mail/my xbox controllers/candles/cd rewritables....


Well, basically just look for a normal desk bro

Bought a new desk yesterday from Game (R399) - just a plain simple desk, no drawers, no mounts for PC. I had one of those computer workstation things (with the top part for printers, etc), but it is so uncomfortable working on that thing.

Bit on the smallish side, mine is about twice as big with a lot of depth. think it's 2 meters in length and 1m in depth

Don't buy those desks from game, super crap quality and they wobble when you move your mouse...
Go to a decent office furniture place or better yet a place that sells furniture from liquidated businesses. I picked up a R5500 desk in brilliant condition for R1900.

If you are looking for a big deskthen you can try the classic trestle type.

1 door (R320) + 2 trestles (R180 each) + some sanding and finishing = a big desk that will also fit through the typical residential doorway.
