Desktop Application?

I'm tired of moving the family's items that they put on the desktop to a folder. Does anyone know of a program that will automatically move items on the desktop to a specified folder?

p.s. program must not move selected folders

instead of moving desktop files to folders rather move the whole profile,least to do once it's done, no obvious difference to the user, they can then clog the desktop to their hearts content.

Or change the ntuser.dat file in the users profile to ntuser.man, nothing can then then be saved to the desktop after this change, forcing the family to move files into the my documents folder.

Why not just create separate users on the PC - the family can then bugger up the desktop as much as they want to...

I aggree here. Would be their own problem and not yours anymore

I get this too TIAL, I hate it, rawr.

I dont know why family thinks EVERYTHING has to go on the desktop, like they just wont be able to find it if it goes into a labeled folder..

That is why I have my own PC ... my wife hers and the kids theirs .
