So I have a pc that I would like to get a Htpc case for.
But The least expensive Htpc case is almost R2000 :wtf: That's more than Half the price of the pc itself!
That Shocking considering that one can pic up cheap towers for a few hundred bucks. So my next option is finding a desktop case and using that but that is turning out to be quite a scarce piece of hardware these days. Does anyone Know were I could find a supplier of reasonably priced desktop cases?
Preferably in Pretoria or Gauteng area?

Ask Archer to custom build a case for you. He is doing mine currently.

What kind of hardware do you currently have that you want to put into the case? I recently got this case for R500 and it is working quite well. The only requirement is the ITX motherboard that could become expensive

Is Archer a forum member? Does he have a site/store? I always thought it would be cool to have a custom case, I'm just not very handy with a dremel

Thanks for the links. I have looked online What I'm looking for a desktop case, one that lies Horizontally As currently the pc is housed in a mini tower that's taking up Way to much and is quite and eye sore in the lounge.

This isn't the smallest one out there, but is still a good case.

Yip. I needed a case like the Fractal but it was 3 centimeters too long. Need it to fit into my TV Stand and looking at his work, I think he should go mainstream into this business as SA don't have many custom case designers and builders.

Does anyone here actually have one of the Bitfenix cases? I'm planning a build in a Micro ATX Phenom which will involve a number of hard drives on the mounting up the side of the case. I need to know the maximum height CPU cooler that I can fit with the hard drives installed.

I'm in the process of building a machine in a Phenom mATX. I actually haven't got the drives in yet, but have been told that the CPU cooler can be up to 160mm with hard drives installed. I got this information after buying a bunch of the stuff and opted for closed-loop water cooling.
