Desktop. While I use both on a daily basis. To me the only advantage of a laptop is portability.

Definitely prefer a laptop for work and gaming.

Both but chose laptop cause I need it by me nearly 100% of the time for work.

I view PC's and laptops as different tools so the comparison is actually a odd question to ask for me.

Laptop, I can use it anywhere anytime for anything. I've grown used to packing it in and out of my bag twice a day for work and from hom.

Laptop, it is portable, can do my work anywhere with easy connectivity via Wifi or 3G

PC for ME

I'm one of the earliest users and graduated from a palm top, onwards to an Olivetti laptop. My first PC was DOS6 and we had to make our own menu systems. However, although laptops are necessary for business, I never again owned a laptop, and there's little chance that I ever would.

Laptop comes with the option of portability, but my work machine is not like my previous laptop (ultrabook), so it feels like I own 2 desktops instead of one each.

I prefer gaming on a desktop, but when we had load shedding then a laptop could give me an extra hour or two with a built-in 4G card.

Desktop

I have to say I use my laptop more, but there is nothing better than a desktop assembled by hand.

Desktop, so if something kuks out you dont have to pay out your arse to replace it.

I prefer my laptop as its mobile and I can use it both in and out of the office and home.

I prefer connecting Laptop to a External Monitor and Wireless Keyboard/Mouse so that I can get Comfort of a Desktop via Laptop.

I used to have a super tower with glass sides, water cooling and a mountain of hard drives but over the last few years (since I stopped playing WoW) I've sold my dekstop and only work on a laptop now.
