guys

anyway hope you can help, not clued up on server 2003 but my uncle needs a user added with pop 3 email ? do you know where i can get help on this ?

1 user = email from an ISP
then i need to somehow load the server to replicate the email or pull it down from the ISP

god please point me in the right direction :(

Heyup

Hope it isn't too late.

Take a look at hMailServer.

Or Unixmail for Windows, especially the fetchmail part.

But I think fetchmail will do the trick for you. Basically it is a POP client which will connect to, and download emails from the ISP and insert it into an email box.

Ur uncle seems to be needing alot from you lately

Hope you're charging your uncle for the work done? Otherwise he'll just make (mis)use of your conveniently free services...

I think he is referring to the POP download function on exchange 2003. The mail gets downloaded from the ISP to the exchange mailbox. Thats quiet easy and it is located in the exchange console.
