Please please please can someone help me. I have recently moved from Fourways to Craigavon and lucky me it seems no one but Telkom can help me with Internet access on snail paced dial up. I had ADSL, but was told after 2 weeks of Telkom's testing that the exchange does not support ADSL. Sentech does not cover my area and it seems iBurst is in question too. Are there any other solutions to my dilemma???

Noone's granny on a scooter with a cleft stick - probably faster than any wireless offering. Pester the Telkrap people every seond day - ask when they're scheduling upgrading of the exchange, who the Project Manager is for your area, what's the scheduled arrival date for upgrade equipment, etc...

Not an informal settlement, it's a townhouse complex area behind Fourways Mall. I was stunned since the phone # wouldn't change, but the exchange can't support ADSL, what I found funnier is they, being Telkom, told me of a new wow wow wonderful technology they had so I asked them to send the info, turns out it is only Satelite, which they want to charge R3048 a month for 512kbps download, and 56kbps upload. It's a joke!!!! Oh and there is also a 3GB cap!!
