Our customers can now transfer data bundles to Prepaid and Top Up customers so they can surf the Internet, download music or check their emails. Friends and family can now get online even if they don’t have enough airtime by simply using the Data Bundle Transfer service.
Who can transfer data bundles?
All Vodacom customers (Contract, Top Up and Prepaid) can transfer data bundles to Vodacom Prepaid or Top Up customers.
Which data bundles can they transfer?
Customers can only transfer Broadband Standard data bundles of the following sizes:

The whole data bundle is transferred, and used bundles cannot be transferred.
How do customers get the service?
Prepaid customers Prepaid customers are automatically allowed to use this service, provided they have recharged their account with sufficient airtime.
Contract customers Contract customers can request the service from their Service Provider by calling 111 free from a Vodacom or 082 111 from any other phone.
Top Up customers Top Up customers can request the service from their Service Provider by calling 111 free from a Vodacom or 082 111 from any other phone
How do customers transfer data bundles?
• Customers can dial *111# to access the Vodacom Self Help menu.
• Press answer/reply, type ‘2’ and send.
• Customers will be given the option to transfer airtime or to transfer data bundles.
How much does it cost?
There are no costs associated with using the service. Customers will only pay for the data bundle.
