Hi all,

Go figure, back again only to ask (beg) for something...

Right, I'd like to know if anyone here happens to have the following urgently, preferably being a donation (flat flat flat broke, like 2-D broke)...

1x working AMD K6-3 550Mhz processor
Any working PC100/PC133 SDRAM 64MB or over

Then also, but not so urgently:

1x Working socket 370 Pentium III motherboard

So if you're throwing out some junk, let me know please!!

Thanks a ton,
NightWulfe:

I'll take a look at home, I found a box of old stuff the other day I just haven't gone through it.

More than likely have the ram and maybe a PIII 1GHZ FCPGA proc for you.

I have a K6-3D 450 + motherboard, and at least 64MB PC133...

I have some never-used sticks of 128MB PC133 SDRAM ( don't know if it is single or double sided ). If you haven't come right I will happily pack a couple and send them to you. No charge. Drop me a PM.

Just PM me!

The 128MB ones I have do exactly that - on some machines they show 128, on others 64. Would that mean they are SSided? Or how do I tell? They physically have chips on both sides, as well as a Proudly South African sticker  and some long numbers I can hardly read!

Yeah Its a b@stard, at the time there was a lot of memory scammers going here in SA. Its all MBoard related! Generally If they have chips on both sides they should work in my type Mother boards, but could fail in the later model boards. Chips on Single side only will only read 1/2 in my type boards. It was the crossover from PC100 to PC133 ram boards. So boards that is not in general PCC133 compliant will only see the half. The cr@p is that a lot of ram was remarked, PC100 as PC133 to cheat the consumer and pc133 as pc100 marked as 1/2 the capacity only to supply PC100 ram that was obsolete! Therefore the mass confusion and the sites that sold ram for specific boards!

SO AFTER ALL THAT THE ONLY WAY TO CHECK IS TO TEST!
