Destiny 2 pre-order - BETA testing

Ok, so anyone else purchased the pre-order for this? Also, the limited edition where you get access to BETA testing?

I have never been involved with BETA testing before, so am interested as to what this actually means. Do you get to play a lot of the game, or just some of the game? Does it ruin the game for you later, or give any advantages from just knowing what is going on early on?

You started playing from Taken King right?
D1 at launch was a cash grab furk up of note.
After making me pay for the same game 4 times to get the content they promised at launch. They can suck it.

And yes, I'm an idiot but Destiny 1 was an addiction of note.

Yeah. I was fortunate in that I only started playing in "year 2" as they called it. And yep, total addiction. I even started playing online and joined a clan, which I have never done before

From what we've been told, the beta will comprise of the same 'content' shown during Bungie's D2 Reveal;

1x Strike (Inverted Spire)

1x Story Mission (Home Coming)

(I assume) 1x PVP mode

BETAs normally ruin a game if you take part in it.

Reasons:
You play a buggy game and help iron out the bugs.
You play the whole game but with limited participation so you see a whole game without the added flavour of it being played at full capacity.

When the game actually does launch, you've done it all

As someone who's been through the WoW beta's, I can see where you're coming from! Not this beta, imho

Perfect chance to finally settle on a main for D2!
