Need the MyBBers to come and defend him.

Oak has a serial pisser degree from stellenbosh:

He has a degree oaks.

Maybe link some articles on how great the guy is.

Having a South African Degree does not make you intelligent, qualified or capable. In fact, these days totally the opposite. I would much rather go for the one with actual work experience and provable successes even he or she has no degree.

Exactly.

EOH must have been "underpaying" or must have selected the "under 10% degree holder"

So if I read this sort of correctly, he inherited nearly 8 billion rand worth of debt in 2018 with 15% interest and they had a profit of 288 million (approx 4% of the debt) - they would have been losing money hand over fist just on interest payments and fees.

What choice would he have but to divest businesses and restructure the debt? The alternative is to close the doors. The sales would also be 'distressed sales' EOH were not in a strong position to negotiate fair value for those businesses with buyers. With 500million of debt remaining they still have to make some moves yet before they're out of the woods.

The intrinsic value of the business - it's ability to generate cash, was already destroyed long before van Coller took over. The drop in the share price since 2018 is a true reflection of that.

I hope they manage to complete their turnaround but personally I wouldn't be ready to buy EOH shares just yet.

So what happened before Sept 2018 and whose fault is that?

They unbundled a lot of holdings.
Check the ex date of each unbundling.

Example…
If they unbundled something which was the equivalent of 10% of EOH”s market cap, then on the ex date, the share price should drop by 10%.

That is what people who do not have a degree and who are in no way intelligent, capable or qualified would say.
