So we just bought a new house and decided to keep the apartment we used to life in and rent it. The question now is, which property is now considered my second property? The apartment or the house?

The one you aren't living in.

The one you list as your domicilium citandi et executandi is considered your primary home.

Trust you to come up with that. In lamens that translates if I recall, the place to which you return from your wonderings

:) But yes the one you arent living in. Ie Primary is the place you live and return from wondering, second is pretty self explanatory after that
