I was wondering if the new Deus ex mankind divided would run at all on my machine

The minimum specs required are

MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 7.1SP1 or above (64-bit Operating System Required)
Processor: Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2GB) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (2GB)
Storage: 45 GB available space

Im running 6GB RAM, Core i3 530 and Geforce GTX 460 SE (1GB)

Has anyone else tried playing it with specs like mine?

I've got an i5 with 7850 and 8GB RAM and I've had to drop to 1600x900 at Medium settings to get playable frames. I really think you should give this one a skip, mate.

On the plus side, Human Revolution will sing on your PC so give it a go if you haven't already.

I wouldn't be too hopeful at all. I have a 980Ti and I run it on high settings ok, but not cool on very high and ultra. Very demanding game. You can believe their stated minimum specs.

On an i5 2500K and GTX 970 (granted - still expensive), it gets 60fps at 1080p and high detail + other options switched on... might drop to 50fps at times.

So recommended CPU is a bit overstated... and I guess back in the day I got used to games at lower resolutions, medium detail, and 20fps before upgrading.
