I am currently looking for a new position as a developer in Randburg and surrounding areas.

I started as a junior in 2007 with no programming experience in the (Research and development) team under 2 of the top programmers within the company. I was supposed to be shifted after my 3 months training to another team but I held much value within the team that it was decided that I would be a permanent on the core team of the company.

Since then I have been involved in all aspects of programming from architecture and design to
maintenance and debugging. Along the way I have taught myself many languages, methodologies and standards related to web based applications such as:
Javascript
AJAX
CSS
HTML
XML

I am currently also a part of the Architects forum in the company.

My main area of expertise is in "Progress Openedge 4GL" which not not popular but I am an extremely fast learner and I will go out of my way to prove that I have what it takes to be amongst the top in your company.

Please send me a message if you require a CV.

Regards,
Stephen

sorry if i sound like a dweeb.. but just a note :

css/html/xml are standards.. not languages.
and ajax is a methodology... not a language.

and the only web (client side) language i know of is javascript... you could also consider languages like Dart, Go and CoffeeScript which are able to generate javascript...

Rather mention / scratch up your proficiency on javascript frameworks like JQuery.

Learning Phonegap - is a big plus - lots of work for phonegap devs.

And if you want to get hardcore with your javascript use it server side with nodejs...

Thanks stricken, I've corrected my terminology.

I've just started using a bit of jQuery but I'm not familiar enough with it to warrant advertising it as a strong point.
Also I haven't used any of those tools to write javascript, I've always written my own but I will look into it.
