PHP SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

The Software Developers in our team are responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing operating systems-level software and network distribution software. Setting operational specifications and formulating and analyzing software requirements.

Job Competencies:
• Proficient in modern programming languages with a focus on PHP.
• Full software development lifecycle experience.
• A basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Cooperation and commitment within our team to achieve common goals.
• Examination of data to grasp issues, drawing conclusions, and solving problems.
• A relatively grounded understanding of Automated Testing platforms, such as unit testing and behavior driven development.
• Some knowledge of continuous integration or automated deployment.
• A well ground knowledge of source control. Extra brownie points for GIT and GIT-flow
• A solid foundation or sufficient exposure in working with MVC frameworks such as Rails, Cake, code-ignition, Zend, Django.
• Experience on working with large scale, complex and heavily invested systems.
• A basic understanding of domain driven design, single responsibilities and writing DRY code (Don't Repeat Your self)
• Good and clear communication skills as they will be required to maintain visibility and accountability to their work at all times.

Work Activities:
• Developing Internet based products and applications.
• Extend internal system tools and intranet.
• Modify existing software to improve performance.
• Software programming and development of subsequent documentation.
• Consulting with other departments on projects and technical issues.
• Actively contribute to the existing system knowledge and technical tools.
• Conferring with product managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for processing projects.

Minimum Requirements:
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience using PHP.
• Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other frontend design languages.

Preferred Requirements:
• Experience with program testing software, SOA-style principals, Agile/Lean/Kanban, database management systems (SQL)

Tools & Equipment Used:
- High performance desktop machine (Windows or Linux)
- 2 large monitors.

Our Software Developers spend the majority of their time in a comfortable air-conditioned office with 6-10 co-workers. They work a standard 40-hour week from Monday-Friday. Physical demands are minimal and sitting or standing is required for most of the day. Psychological stress is usually low but becomes moderate when dealing with time restrictions for projects.

Our team is relaxed, friendly and accommodating, we enjoy working with driven people who know how to get the job done. We don’t expect anyone to work overtime and plan project work as best we can to ensure stress is low while maintaining our high delivery standard.

Our system is fairly well documented and growing daily. Seniors in the team are available often to assist with technical planning and implementation.

I see rsaweb posted a lot of jobs in short order none following the rules. Can these posts not be removed or put on review until corrected? just too many scams out there these days
