We're working on a charting tool for a client and we soon found out that Excel Charts are plain useless.

Googling for a few hours I found absolutely nothing that can do the job. So, now I'm looking into just coding the thing myself. (How hard can it be?)

We need a chart that can easily zoom in (looking at an isolation of the data) and the ability to drill down into the data (Like a pivot table does).
I still can't believe that there's nothing on the web that can do that...

Any assistance is welcome and much appreciated as I still have no clue how to do it. :erm:

(This has to work on Excel 2003)

Have you tried looking at ProClarity? Last time I saw, it had a pretty nifty web interface with which you could drill into the data...
