Development in Vodacom Please Call Me case

Well they don't want to offer something that's near what he is owed so......until the court forces VC this will go on and on
You think he is owed more than 50 million rand for coming up with an idea that MTN patented?

It's really little more than a variation of reverse charges call. Telkom would have been the first to come up with it had texting been a thing back then.

I'm too tired to explain it again.

Everyone should stop rehashing these same arguments. Firstly Vodacom credits him with the idea so it doesn't matter what MTN says. Secondly MTN didn't patent the system but a different one. As for what he is owed, this should be a lesson as it doesn't matter now. Before an idea is executed you can get it for a pittance. Even R1m would have been a bargain but if they clenched it ahead of time they could have gotten it for a few thousand. Simply going ahead with it without a deal and then for years not even wanting to pay him gave him tremendous leverage so they're getting what they deserve.

I've said it from the start none of them came up with this.

Well really whoever came up with this idea needs a class action suit against them because it is the biggest load of bullshit ...... ever. Why do i need to call back some tw@tty who wants to speak to me but doesn't to spend the money to call me? I think that this was the biggest waste of time and money idea ever thought of ..... anybody sending me a "please call me" can really stand on their head and whistle through their ar5e

Everything should quit rehashing these arguments
