I have got a fun little project that I would like to get started with. I have 15+ years experience with development, however not much front end experience. I played around with angular 2/4 and developed some hobby projects.
I now wanna develop a more production ready application and would like to utilize a person with good experience with angular who can work with me on the frontend stuff. I should be ok with the backend, however bonus if you are a fullstack kind of guy.

I have 20k available for this project.

Pm if interested.

If you have the inclination, you could learn Angular 2 yourself. With 15+ years of experience you shouldn't find it too difficult. Here's a book I found was one of the best resources to learn it myself: https://www.ng-book.com/2/

such a useless answer. did you even read his message?

The answer was in fact extremely helpful , and pointed the OP in the only direction he should and could go.

I'm known for being blunt , so I'll continue that tradition by providing the answer you wanted :

OP - you don't have enough money to do what you want to do (have someone with enough experience write a production ready app in Angular.) 20k won't cut it , by a long stretch , even for the simplest project , and even if you do the backend.

If you don't have more than 20k , doing it yourself is the way to go.

Let me highlight in the quoted replies for you why c10n3d_0r6's answer was useless;

He mentions that he does, indeed, know Angular and developed some hobby projects.

Here c10n3d_0r6 says how he should learn Angular 2 himself. Why? He already knows it, knows the limitation of where he got to with his hobby projects, realizes he won't be able to take his idea to fruition and is now asking for anyone here, with the experience, to help him out... more importantly... THAT HE IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT.

Now.

Your answer is way more valuable to this thread in the sense where you said 20k won't be enough. But if you have someone with good experience approach him that would be interested in relieving him of that 20k, perhaps that person is experienced enough to see the project specification and suggest WHAT can be done FOR his 20k budget.

He might not get all the bells and whistles he needs now, but for **** sure he will be able to get something good enough to start building on, even if he uses his obvious programming experience to flesh it out himself.

So c10n3d_0r6's answer is completely and utterly useless to the entire conversion and their answer was IN FACT not "extremely helpful" as you put it because the OP clearly already knows Angular (even if it's on a basic level) and wants to develop his idea further.

Thank you for clearing that up! Not looking for a production ready app. Looking for guidance and some initial framework that I can follow to complete the app.
