I scanned a network with 'advanced ip scanner' to test and noticed a s6 smart phone does not return manufacturer details.
is the phone blocking the ip scanner or should that detail be showing.
can anyone else confirm this?
the device was not bought from a retail outlet or contract.
busy setting up mikrotik quick to check traffic on the device, but was hoping someone here can confirm or deny the same result on that scanner.
edit: scanning from other applications eventually revealed the manufacturers details, mikrotik did show the device use a lot of data while idle too.
