Hi there,

I need a device that enables me to stream content from a Windows laptop, Android tablet/phone and Apple devices to a TV.

I do not need to stream live content from the net, but rather stuff already on the devices eg. power points, word docs, short video clips, music etc. There is no network available where the TV is.

I know about Apple TV and Google Chromecast, but are there any universal devices that can connect all of the above operating systems to the TV?

Thanks in advance!

If there's no network then you will have to connect each device individually. Some android devices do have tv out connectors or even mini hdmi in the case of tablets.

If your android is a issue though you can hook the android up to the laptop and then laptop to the tv. Only works through windows.
See link below. I think there was a minimum android version requirement so just check the J5 create website before you buy.

All those casting devices work with a network. Cable connection is your only option with no network.
