Dexter Season 5

Well after much waiting and non-containment of happiness, I finally settled down to watch episode 1 ........... and meh. What a load of meh. Acting was meh, story was meh, even the production seemed a bit meh. I hope Dexter improves because if they've ruined one of my fave shows, there will be trouble

I also thought it was below par. However the first episodes of new seasons of most shows are generally an anticlimax, so I'm sure it will be business as usual soon

This is my favourite show, but after the ending of the previous season, I am not sure that I will like the new direction of this season.

yes, I think this episode was unavoidable. I'm glad its out of the way and I think that pretty soon they will be introducing the new plot and it will be back to normal.
