Hey forumites, having difficulty finding out if this has been answered or not as I can't search the word DFA in these forums...

Anyone have experience with a DFA ISP for residential? I see on most ISP's (like Cool Ideas) they only support specific estates with DFA fibre.
Tyger Waterfront (CPT) just got a letter saying DFA has completed their fibre ring for all the building there. Is this the usual case of having to find an ISP willing enough to do the entire building or does DFA now have some sort of residential product that plebs can subscribe to through a residential ISP? The only ISP I can find who actually supports some of the buildings there is SADV (puke).

SADV is a subsidiary of DFA who does residential fibre. They are also open access so you might be able to get the line from them and the Internet service from someone else. I think it depends on the agreements signed with the landlords though.

I'm trying to get my neighbors to sign up with SADV since we have DFA fibre cables laying all around the area in which I stay. Let's see how quickly / slowly this goes (sign ups)...
