DG632

I just bought a Netgear DG632 and it appears to be unable to connect to telkom at all. My telkom supplied modem works fine.

When I switch the modem on the all the lights are green, yet the modem never gets assigned an IP.

Any suggestions?

Well thanks to superjuice. Instead of setting up the modem via the ethernet connection, I installed the updated USB drivers and installed via USB and it worked perfectly. Removed the usb cable and can now use it perfectly through my switch.

i think it works like the sentech modems, you can't use the ethernet cable because the username and password gets stored within the modem, thus you need to use it via usb instead?
