FFS. Gotta push overtime next couple of months.

So this will be playable Friday our time in the morning?

I'll only be able to get on by the evening though - maybe an hour or so in the afternoon.

I'll be taking it nice and slow, no rushing to complete the campaign in order to get to the endgame - there'll be years still to play the endgame.

Server Slam gave me the greatest enjoyment when I solo'd and went at my own pace without chasing level 20 or trying to get to the world boss event. For instance, I felt a real sense of discovery when I was sent on that Sorcerer mission that unlocks your ability to slot a power as a passive (can't remember what it's called now).

Really looking forward to this.

Seen some streamers recommending playing on easiest just to complete the campaign and jump to max difficulty thereafter.

Need to research world tiers and how they scale

Thoughts?

General consensus is that world tier 1 is a better than 2 as the extra 20% experience is limited to kills and not quests AND there isn't an improvement in loot drops.

For a quicker leveling experience it would be best to play as a group and to make sure you are using elixers.

Yeah, I'm getting excited myself now.

Should be home by 13:00 at the latest and should be ok to carry on for an extended session, missus even offered to buy me snacks and things.

Sever slam I played as veteran level 2 and found it just enough of a challenge not to be boring or overkill to slow me down so planning to do the same on launch

Same.

Level 2 had just the right amount of challenge to ensure that I didn't yawn my way through while pulping everything.

Having to go back to town after losing two tough fights to level up my gear and rebalance abilities, brew a potion or three, etc made the eventual victory much more satisfying

Sure if you just want to get to end game quickly.

I want to at least enjoy the campaign a bit. Easy takes that away. It's a lot of money, need to get some value out of it. Otherwise it's no different to CoD where they just buy the game for multiplayer..

Yep i get that, makes sense depending on the player. I thought veteran would yield better loot, seems not so
