Diablo II: Resurrected

Act 3 quests starts with discovering the quest items.
I'm half way through act 3 now.
Had a few crashes.
 
I keep dying :p

I do miss D3's bottomless potions. Each dose taking in inventory slot is a biyatch!
 
Started and finished normal difficulty yesterday. Act 5 took about 15min which was hilariously quick for me. Quite the glass cannon with my lightning sorceress and I'm still stuck wearing gear mostly found in act 1. I've seen a few set items drop, no uniques yet. They get snatched up by the melee guys and people who are closer to the servers though.
 
Started this morning with my Necro build summoner

My other one is stuck in act3, no quest wat so ever.

No quest's at all . If I look at my quest info no quest's wat so all. Nobody gave me a quest at the start of Act III.

"To activate this quest, go into the Spider Forest, and after killing the first Unique monster, search the ground for a jade figurine. Return to town and speak with Cain, who will tell you to talk to Meshif. Speak with Meshif, who will give you a gold bird in exchange for the jade figurine. Return to Cain, who will tell you to speak to Alkor. Alkor will identify it as the Golden Bird of Ku Y'leh. Leave his shop, and then return, and he will give you a potion of life, which will add 20 points to your life statistic." Not done so far. My Char. sucks....
 
Yes that's correct they don't give you the quest at the start of act 3.

The first 3 quests are items to be discovered in the forest.

1st is the eagle drop in the first bit of the jungle. 2nd Khalim's Eye from spider cavern chest. This starts the Khalim's Will chain then the 3rd is the blade in Flayer Jungle its on a pedestal click it and a mob will spawn who drops it.

All 3 are meant to be discovered before the quest starts.
 
I finished normal and started nightmare yesterday. Doing a hybrid fireball blizzard build. Now hoping for the 4 socket items to start dropping.
 
Still taking it slow but my necro is developing nicely. Could make a damn nice barb though if I wanted to as that seems to be the only gear that drops for me.

Up to level 50 something and starting act 3 nightmare now. Apparently I need to get resistance gear at some point

So far it's just stack skeletons, pop a golem and revives if I remember them wait for something to die and spam corpse explosion.

It isn't very fast but it sure as hell works!

You tried farming normal cows?

Apparently that's the best for the item bases.
 
Playing Necro also summon skellies for a living. (Lvl 27 or so.)

Don't know if I should respect into Bone spear or so.

The other thing I'm missing are Rune words for Gear and weapons.
Found some, need more. Specifically while leveling.

I rather farm for Runes. Then to make progress.
Got some two socked items wands. Next question if you have 2 socket items and want to Imbue.
If you imbue will you lose two sockets on item? Big if!
 
Need a four sock shield I have the run word for it.
Still slowly moving on ACTV normal.
 
Done with nightmare...level 70 now on the necro and at a point where allocating skill points are now optional.

20 raise skel,
20 skel mastery,
20 corpse explosion
1 point in some others
Act 2 merc with insight

Basically wait for 1 or 2 mobs to drop and then clear most of the screen with corpse explosion before moving on.
 
Did start a new char. Completed act1 and 2.
When i request to go to act 3 I get taken back to act1.
Toggles between the act1 and 2.

Nope on the real one.
My other two char are in act 3 except my wiz for some reason.

Game got patched from 1.0 to 1.01

Quest button does not clear. Got it old age creeping in.
Spoke to wrong person, one called Warriv he takes you to Act1 or 2.
This one at the docks takes you Act3 called Meshif. Problem solved!!!

If you're not running a pally then you're going to wait a LONG time for one.

Most farm the monarch shield cause it has the lowest STR requirement at 156, and most farm Hell Cows for the base.

Basically, don't bank on this runeword to get you through the game.
 
Rolling along nicely with my Wind Druid, facemelting most of the mobs in nightmare with little worries, had to chuck in a few extra stats into Str and Dex to wear some high level rune word gear.

Everything just goes pop ! lol ! kite bosses around in circles and they also go pop ! ... level 54 :)
