Diablo II: Resurrected

Can I use a controller on my laptop?
And if I can which controller is best to use.

Any Xbox one controller and PS controller - never used a PS controller on my laptop tho.

So your skellies / mastery should be around 25 + skills for hell, your summon resists need to be 5 + as well depending on your build you go with

Amp Damage curse around 10 - 11 and corpse explosion maxed / 5 into monster revive.

As for a golem, well I never use one tbh as they die so fast, so I'm torn between using the skills for something else like bone armor or even into summon resists.

When you move around and into a group of monsters make sure to run back into your army, even if you see 1 little monster just run back into your pack and spam Amp Dmg, then wait for more monsters to roll into the battle, spam more Amp Dmg and as soon as you see that corpse hit the floor - BOOM ! corpse explosion spam fest.

Note that your skellies will not last as long as they do as in normal and nightmare difficulties - you will need to revive 1 or 2 after an elite pack or mini boss and minions, hit that portal if you stuck and then heal up and go back. When you head back thro the portal your mobs / pets fan out just like it would with Teleport / Enigma.

And yes you need faster boots and remember your stats - Enough strength to wear your required armor, try get dex up to 150 for decent block ( yes even for a necro this helps ) and then max Vit.

Get yourself 2 x spirit runewords 4 socket wep and a 4 socket shield ! ( resists is a must ) Edit : You need more + skill items to get to the desired levels :)

Ok enough of my rant !

Necro how to make them attack quicker, skellies. (Lvl 80 and 3* Skill levels from items)
My Merc stands idle at some point in the game. Then my Skellies are not quick enough to kill.
Then I get cornered and die. Need faster run walk boots. Crafting sucks currently. My boots are 10% faster run walk.
If I craft then there are short cummings. Elemental stats.

I have seen some monsters are quicker than my current run walk boots. Cant back up quick enough,

I can revive 6 corpses. But then it gets confusing who is foe or friend.

The other part of the game i suck in. I find upgrades i think but then opposite to what i currently wear.
Would like to get a charm Torch. Me ever getting to Uppers will not happen in my lifetime.
What is your corpse explosion on?

The skellies, though capable, are more there to be a tank to get your first corpse down. They can do it on their own but an act 2 damage aura merc helps speed up the process. Oh, and don't forget amplify damage curse!

Once the first corpse is down you basically clear the screen with corpse explosion.

This build isn't the greatest boss killer, you can but it takes time, farming high level areas with nice pack sizes though is a breeze.

I just started hell

9 skeletons + 9 mages + 1 clay golum + 1 cold act2 merc

+40 speed boots.

I find that the skeletons block the way too often for my merc who is the main dmg dealer with his vision halberd.

Fun watching a gangfight. Very enjoyable playstyle just spamming curses and watching the monsters fight for their lives

Currently level 80 Necro. Add two Skill level on Sword and on on Head Gear. Don't have 4 soc Shield. Being on the look out for one. Done Cow levels have not found one.

I see you can't revive all monsters, Elite monster you can't revive. See my attached Pics. on stats etc.

I have 5 soc item for Merc. Need runes for it.

I also have 9 Skellies and 3 Mages. Mages die like flies.
My Merc has blessed Aim to help boost Skellies attack
My Clay golem last longer then my Skellies.

Looks like you've pushed Clay Golem to far. You only need 1 point there as its not a damage dealer, its there for the slow aura.

I don't ever raise mages and dead only if I remember I have the actual skill.

It's really: golem, get skeletons up, amplify damage, corpse explosion.

I'm on 33 Skel Mastery, 33 Raise skeleton, 14 Clay Golem, 35 Corpse Explosion and 16 Amplify Damage

If you play online I can give you:
+2 Necro skill Wand
+2 Necro skill Tiara
+2 Necro Skill Unraveller Head
+1 Necro skill Amulet

The core build on Necro is as follows:

Summoning:
  • 20 Raise Skeleton (RS)
  • 20 Skeleton Mastery (SM)
  • 1 Raise Mage
  • 1 Clay Golem
  • 1 Blood Golem
  • 1 Iron Golem
  • 1 Fire Golem
  • 1+ Revive
  • 1+ Golem Mastery
  • 1+ Summon Resist (SR)
Poison & Bone:
  • 1 Teeth
  • 20 Corpse Explosion (CE)
Curses:
  • 1+ Amplify Damage (Amp)
  • 1 Dim Vison (DV)
  • 1 Attract
  • 1 Decrepify (Decrep)

Your corpse explosion needs to be maxed for max range, also where you stand when you encounter mobs also does help, make sure your near some corpses.

Curses are ok, I only do Amp Dmg not anything else as like in D3 the quicker the mobs die the better. So I put a few in for bigger range.

Everything else seems good :)

Maybe it's the boots or either Battle lag delay ? I found I need to move around slower than I do on single player due to that split second delay lag ( distance from servers in the EU ) even with my dinky fibre / LTE

So you'll be kiting mobs back into your army ( WOW term ) then Amp Dmg, then spam corpse explosion ! It's a wonderous thing when you see everything on the screen go SPLAT !

Take note of the amount of plus skills he has !

The fact that he just add's 1 point into any skill and it's sitting 20+ is insane ! gief those charms lol

yes, and any xbox controller works. Since it is windows based. For PS4 controller you need an emulator. Have seen some comments on using steam app for the controllers as well.

For me however it was a bit of an adjustment to get used to the controller. And eventually have given up. It is still usefull for Public baal runs, as you have a single loot button ;)

Can now, my battle tag is: Arzy#1524
Were do I put in your battle tag number. See my other post.
Do I have to Lobby to join?
Ok don't know if this is right, If I put in your battle tag number see pic. Ten to one you are offline

Always played offline in the old day's. Data at that point was expensive.

You add me as a friend with the battle tag in the battle.net app and then we can talk there. I'll create a game and send you the details to join.

Im away from my pc now though.

I know Bluetooth is a Pain.
I used to have a Bluetooth mouse and a media player that also worked on Bluetooth. They clashed with each other. Every time the media player came online messed around with my Mouse.
Most of my stuff now a day's are all Hard wired.
