Who cares if they're influenced by popular MMO's? Diablo is for those of us who don't want to pay for the game every month, and who don't want to play with a bunch of gold farmers, and who generally don't want to mine for fish. :p

Lol, Im playing GW and will play GW 2 as it reminds me of diablo in a sense. Its also has no monthly fees :D

But even with all the crap Blizzard is making I think I will get a copy and play D3.

Hmm.. I wonder what will be next

Sorceress = Wizard
Barbarian = Barbarian
Necromancer = Witch Doctor

I would picture the Monk like a druid and assassin mix

I doubt there will be a paladin char.. it will be a little redundant to have another warrior char with the barb already around, and we already have a holy warrior with the monk.

Leaving only the Amazon, which will probably be called a rogue

Maybe something strange and original.. like a horadrim, or a disgruntled demonic char that is a pure summoner.

The paladin wasn't really a warrior character. It was a support character. Its auras helped others more than it helped itself.

Think we will get some form of Nature Fighter.... Shaman or some such.

But we also still need a ranged physical

blizz games are awesome in quality and i have nothing but good things to say for their end product.

what totally gets to me about them is the fact that they feel the need to hype something up for over two years... what's the point of announcing and releasing a gazillion years later? surely they would sell just as many copies of the game if they announced it like 6 months before actual release?

ffs :-/

They like seeing us suffer :(

Also I am sure they do make changes as the public show what they will and will not accept :D

I think the next char must be a SA Taxi Driver

He will have no skills at all and the only upgrade you get is a cell phone and mags for the taxi.

:o

Yet he will be able to kill everything, and if the monsters don't die he will go on strike.

i'm just afraid D3 will go the route of Warcraft Adventures, where they realised a couple weeks before E3 to pull the plug on the whole game because the whole game was out dated and that it would not sell as well as the other games in the same genre, they'd rather shelf the project and run a loss than not bring out a quality game...point is, purely because they took to long to develop it, they couldn't keep up with the trend, so it got canned....

Imo Blizzard has not done anything special in the last 3-4 years.

I understand that most of their resources have gone towards WoW (which makes great financial sense), but i really want D3 to be a success :(
