How can they (the mobile triopoly) not be considered as being a major operator?? :confused: These operators need b!tch smacking into submission.
 
Let's not forget that the mobile's are busy crowing that they've got 15 million subscribers each (compared to Telkom's 5 million fixed line subscribers) but yet they're not major operators.

Government’s war against excessive pricing moved into the area of telephone call charges recently, with regulator the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) putting the spotlight on how so-called interconnect fees raise both landline and mobile costs.
If its the governments job to combat excessive pricing then why is the Independent regulator doing it?
