Apart from Axxess, do any other ISP's offer free dial up? Reason for asking is that the wife uses dial up in her shop and I would like to cancel her MWEB.

WebAfrica but, i just went to http://www.webafrica.co.za/solutions/internet_access_adsl.html and saw that dial up had be removed, so called them and Richard said it was just a temporary "hitch" with Telkom but should be back and included in the ADSL offerings very soon.

Telkom also offer free dial up with their 3GB packages.
I am not sure about any others.

MrSmith thank you for your input. Will look into the WebA offering. Was aware of Telkom but as they say "would rather sleep with the devil" than support telscum. Telscum management that is.

What about M-web?
Its about R50 and its unlimited?
Isnt it?

I was looking for ADSL + free dial up in one package. I'm trying to get away from MWEB. But thanks for the suggestion.

Not if you argue, I got them down to R74
I transferred down to their r74 emailer package but it only lets me dial in for 3 hours a month - pretty useless in itself but I only kept it for the iPass which my boss uses extensively.

When I got ADSL I refused to pay Mweb's price for 3Gig cap, but I wanted to keep my email address ([email protected]) as I had had it for ~10years. They refused to alias it for me, but agreed to reduce my fee to R74. I still get all the "members only content" for what its worth, plus I use the dialup portion occationaly to test my clients equipment. The rest of the time my Father in Law uses it to access gmail. All in all a good deal, especialy from Mweb, so I am happy.

p.s. I thought *@polka was a Telkom/saix front?
