Dial up is faster than rain?

Yes - 2600. I lose a bit on upload but gain significantly on download.

I do however have an external mounted high above my chimney which towers above the second story of my house. It gets me clearance across the whole neighborhood and basically LOS. Have 3 or 4 neighbours on RAIN, and none can get above 30Mbps. I have fun posting speed tests in the community Telegram group.

Days are numbered for RAIN though. Vumatel is busy hooking houses up to fibre and I have been scheduled for hook-up in the next 2 weeks. Going for 200/200 which costs about the same as my current RAIN sub. Can't wait...

I'm sure it's going to be epic. I'm looking to rent an apartment in Rivionia also covered by Vumatel so my 100Mbps limit on A360 is probably also a end for me soon.
