Dialling ported cellular numbers

Hi all

Is there any one else also having problems now and then getting hold of friends and family on ported numbers... it works works works and then it dont. Then again, it works works works and then it dont.

How the flip does one address this?

Firstly, welcome...

I've had endless problems when I ported my wife from MTN to Cell C and after the 2 years I simply cancelled the Cell C contract and took out a new MTN one for her. She didn't need to keep her cell number anyway.

Not sure how to address this.. sorry :erm:

I just know that it makes an irritating beeping sound before it rings, and starts charging you while it is ringing!

Wait until they pick up. That's a factor with ported numbers.
