I have a closer plan 2 it means that one can make call's to land line numbers for free up to one hour. Would it be free if I call the 031 Durban pop dialup number? ?I mean it is a local call then not like the 086 number. I have a dialup account but would it be free or would you still be charged the same price as calling the 086 number?

Telkom give nothing away, you will pay, pay and pay - they have a log of dial-up numbers, you call them, the bill you as per normal call rates, you could send faxes all night long and pay nothing on closer 2 - you could dial into someones ADSL and do the same, it does not cost the any extra, but they milk us dry

They'll charge you for it. Contract says so. If you can get an obscure dial-up number then it might work, but Telkom could nail you for it with a lawyer if they really are out to get you.

I mean its all broad band why dont they just make 56k diulap cheaper. One cant really download with it its just too slow but the prices for dialup is allmost the same as for 1GB ADSL
