I got two PSUs, one got delivered today and it's new.
One is a stock and my new one is a corsair cx430, problem is the cx430 doesn't start any of my 2 pcs,
but the other standard psu does(tested it on both).

One big difference between them I realized is the Corsair doesn't come with a 4 pin cable that my other psu has. This cable I plug in the motherboard near the cpu.

When I tried the corsair psu, it just starts the pc fan on one which turns off after a few seconds, and the other pc it runs but the OS doesn't load(aka black screen only).

I'd imagine you have to have that 4 pin connector connected. Maybe there's a molex converter in the box?

Ok I think this 4 pin thingy is just 2 4pins joined as 8 on the corsair

Correct, though it really should have an adapter of some kind, with just 4 pins, lemme check quick

edit: yip, the 8 pin should be able to unclip and then you can just plug in the 4 pin part

It won't work without the 4 pin connected.
