Did I just make a big mistake?

But if you wanted a phone with an amazing screen (one X), excellent gaming experience (one X or S3), good camera (Sony, Nokia) or following the trend (S3 or Apple) then yes there are much better alternatives out there.
I wouldn't say getting the S3 is following the trend. For me the removable battery as well as micro sd card was worth more than a slightly better screen on the One X.

no worries homie, RazR is sleek to death and the tough exterior is a must, accidents certainly happen! luckily you've got bulletpro-- I mean kevlar, the best part is that they've been promised JB (in a America at least) before year end. Also Google own Moto so support / upgrade is odds on :) The camera is decent and the battery is the obvious reason I'd jump ship ! Even though the specs are not most recent (dual core processor) , the phone will be in no way lacking. What's the point of having a sexy lady when she lives on the other side of the world... like a spec'd up phone that you cannot enjoy carelessly because of limited battery :) Be Stress free

To be honest the Motorola is for people that "live" outside. Its durable, water resistant and long battery life, all the things you will need if you spend most of your time in the "real world"

If you live between an office and home I would go, yeah boet you made a huge mistake.

Nokia: they messed up, between 3 smartphones, my email accounts. Batteries don't last. Need to be rebooted umpteen times aa day.

There is NOTHING wrong with the Razr Maxx. fantastic phone. Those who slam this person are friggen rude, subjective, biased and opinionated without foundation. He did nothing wrong and bought an excellent phone. Be supportive and not plain derogatory. If you cannot say anything good, shut your traps. This forum is NOT for doomsday prophets!

Coming from a Nokia N8 and I'll never go back. Battery life sucks with wifi and 3G on, phone randomly freezes, the system drive runs out of space with time, the UI becomes sluggish, constantly needs to be rebooted (heck sometimes it decides to do that on its own!), etc. With Nokia everything looks great at first until you've had it for a while, and they take their sweet time in fixing issues.

Don't think the guys are slamming me though, just a bit of banter because they're fans of flimsy pieces of Korean plastic, owned by every second school kid, that needs to be charged every night before bedtime :D

The razor maxx is a very nice phone, and if you are concerned about battery life, there's nothing that's close to it.

If Motorola doesn't upgrade the OS, there's always custom roms.
