Did you ever drop and cough?

When I was in standard 6, we had medical examinations. There was a rumour that the nurse had to cup your balls and you had to cough. Thank goodness this never happened to me and I grew up thinking it was just a rumour. Apparently one of the guys I work with experienced this and I was like, "wtf!".

So did anyone here experience this first hand? Was it something that used to happen (in not just the Catholic schools).

Nope. Had a different kind of unpleasant experience but that was at the doctor's office.

Yes. But they were nurses, very professional and discreet.

I heard the rumours, never experienced it. I think those that did experience it were victims of pedobear taking advantage of the rumour.

yep did it in Std 4 or 5 in primary school.

also we had to lean over forward while the nurse was behind us and then lift our backs up until we were standing straight again. I think it was something to do with checking if our spines were straight or some fuddle like that.
