Grrr.
Just ordered a 384k DSL line from Telkom. Ordered it on Tuesday, on Friday afternoon it was activated.
Since I ordered a 24 month contract (yeah, I know, bad move...), I was to get a free wireless modem/router (just to tide me over till I've got the spare cash to get a decent one).
Pop into the local Telkom store on Saturday morning . Nope. Nothing but the USB modem. No Wireless routers. Don't bother trying other Telkom stores, they're also out of stock. Nope, we don't know when we'll get stock, but you can put your name on a list and we'll let you know.
Grrrrr again.
Call Telkom's helpline and ask about having one delivered (maybe they have stock centrally somewhere). Nope. We don't have any anywhere in the country, don't know when we're getting any.

I'm now sitting twiddling my thumbs waiting for a router. Might be a day, might be a month. What the hell is wrong with these people.!! Can't they order enough stock to cover projected customer needs!??!!
