I found that article fascinating. Something I never considered was that in producing low sulphur diesel which then gets punted as 'green' they have to get the suplhur and carbon etc out during the manufacturing process. Bottom line is it ends up in the atmosphere anyways! Its a con.
the coca-cola trucks int he uk have a bluetec tank, and the first time i saw one i had to google it.Ammonia/urea injection like Mercedes' bluetec does make a big difference to diesel emissions, but it's not available in SA yet.
