Hey Guys
I have a 192 DSL Line. Now normally i get much faster than 192 (I download at 35k/s). This seems to be the norm for everyone (getting more than what your line is supposed to do). However, sometimes after a power failure or router reset, im stuck at 20 k/s on the DSL line test. Only after switching my router off and on again, do i get normal 35k speeds again.
Last night we had a power failure, and now my line is stuck on 20k/s. After many router resets, pc resets...etc. I cant seem to get back to 35k/s. Has anyone else experienced anything like this before? Or explain to me how people get faster than normal line speeds in the first place - is it random? or do you just happen to get a lucky connection at the local exchange?
