different IP's

If I got to www.ipnet.co.za they report an IP of 196.2.127.9 (host cache-01.jhb.wbs.co.za) That is not my connection's IP.
http://www.whatismyip.com/ report the same address.

This site http://checkip.dyndns.org:8245/ report my IP correctly.

Can someone explain?

cache-01.jhb.wbs.co.za is WBS's "transparent" proxy, for HTTP traffic. It intercepts all traffic on port 80 which is why http://www.whatismyip.com reports the IP address of the transparent proxy. They do this, so that they can save on bandwidth on popularly accessed sites.

http://checkip.dyndns.org:8245/ uses a different port (port 8245) which is NOT intercepted by WBS's transparent proxy, and thus, enables them to report the true IP address of your connection.
