Different Justice For Different People

Just an observation, I noticed two news articles side by side which depicted the different levels of justice between connected people (criminals) and ordinary people (criminals).

The one is free and walking around for many millions of rands in fraud and unpaid legal fees (R8.5m) while the other is in prison while investigations continue and will no doubt be convicted in a reasonable period of time!

It’s a story as old as time, the wealthy and/or well connected get off scott free while the poor ordinary people get the full might of the law landed on them..

This is as old as human history probably. My example was when they broke into Desmond Tutu's house in 2007 and stole his Nobel peace prize. Cops investigated it thoroughly and recovered it soon after arresting 5 people. Any other burglary you struggle to even get the cops out, and they will not lift a finger to actually investigate. Even if your private security caught the thieves red handed odds are the case is fumbled and they get let off, or can bribe their way out. If your are famous and your case can make the news potentially then you get policing. Otherwise good luck. You are on your own.
