Different network conditions between prepaid sim and contract sim

I don't want to use the unrestricted apn for this client though. They are on a contract sim, so I don't want any risk that the OOB shark is going to get them if there's some sort of DOS attack or anything else that may generate massive amounts of incoming traffic. The key question is why should there be such substantial packet loss on the "internet" apn in the first place?

Alternatively you could request and use the 'internetvpn' APN. It will give you a internet route-able address and always give you an IP address range starting with 41.x.x.x.

I use this VPN APN when wanting to connect my Cisco VPN. When I use the normal 'internet' APN I will usually get an IP address of 10.x.x.x, but every now and then I could get a 41.x.x.x address. Now when I get a 10.x.x.x address, my Cisco VPN will not connect at all. When I get the 41.x.x.x address range, my Cisco VPN works perfectly.

When using the 'internetvpn' APN I always get a 41.x.x.x IP range and my Cisco VPN always works. My Cisco VPN also works fine when using the 'unrestricted' APN, since it gives a 41.x.x.x range.

Just saying could be worth a try.
