Difficulty in recognising faces

I have always had a problem remembering faces,e specially if they change their hair or wear a hat. I have a very hard time telling who is who in war movies because the minute someone has a helmet on, he looks the same as the other. If I run into a colleague wearing jeans and a T at the shops instead of the usual suit and tie, I often have no idea who they are Apparently it is a condition called prosopagnosia http://www.humanuniqueness.org/do-y...ss-seven-signs-and-symptoms-of-prosopagnosia/ I don't seem to have it so bad (seems some people don't even recognise their own children :wtf:
Who else is bad with faces?

I have that problem quite severely, mostly because it takes me a while to focus on things. So bad that I've walked right past my gf seated among friends at a pub, and usually have to be called when looking for people in semi-busy areas.

I'm fairly prosopagnostic.

I also ran slap bang into my partner in the street one day. He had to speak to me before I recognised him.

I can more easily differentiate people through their voices and/or their gait. Faces can have a sameness.

But on the other hand, I can fairly easily tell which broad gene pool someone comes out of (eg South African, Austalian) just by their faces - they share a tell-tale commonality of features quite often, which I can see. It's individuals I can't differentiate so well.
