Digg and Firefox not playing nicely together..

Every time I click a link on Digg, the article it's linked to opens in a new tab BUT after clicking it takes anything from 2 to 5 seconds (sometimes a bit more) to actually switch to that tab, it's like Firefox is hanging for those few seconds.

Anyone have this problem? Maybe extensions could be causing it?
